These terms apply when you use this website or the AfricanSpring order portal, or place an order with us. By placing an order you agree to them.

To confirm before launch: the registered legal entity name, registration number and registered physical address. South Africa's Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) requires a commercial site to show these. We also recommend a short legal review of the cancellation and refund terms below before going live.

Who you are dealing with

What we supply

We supply packaged ice and purified drinking water for delivery to businesses and homes in Belgrade, Pongola and surrounding areas of KwaZulu-Natal. Product availability and the area we can reach may vary.

Prices

Prices shown on this website and in the order portal are in South African Rand and are drawn from our order system. We try to keep them accurate, but prices may change and a price is only confirmed when we accept your order. If a price is clearly wrong, we will contact you before fulfilling the order rather than hold you to the error.

Placing an order

Submitting the contact form, messaging us on WhatsApp, or placing an order in the portal is a request to buy — not a completed sale. Your order is accepted once we confirm it with you. We may decline or cancel an order (for example if we cannot deliver to your area or a product is unavailable), in which case you pay nothing.

Payment

Unless we agree otherwise, payment is made on delivery. [Confirm accepted payment methods, e.g. cash / EFT.]

Delivery

We deliver within our service area and will agree a time with you. Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by weather, demand and road conditions. Please make sure someone is available to receive and store perishable goods (ice) promptly.

Cancellations and refunds

If we deliver the wrong product, a short quantity, or goods not fit for use, tell us as soon as reasonably possible and we will replace them or refund you for the affected items.

Ice and water are perishable goods. Under the Consumer Protection Act, the general cooling-off right for electronic transactions does not apply to goods that are perishable or that deteriorate quickly, so an order already prepared or delivered generally cannot be cancelled for a refund simply because you changed your mind. Your rights to safe, good-quality goods are not affected. [Confirm these terms with a legal advisor before launch.]

Acceptable use of this site

Please don't misuse the site or portal — for example by attempting to break security, submit false orders, or disrupt the service.

Our liability

We take care to supply clean, good-quality ice and water. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other South African law that cannot be excluded.

Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
